MIHAI Services for you

From €80 per 0.5 m³ · 125 kg included per step · Gozo +€80 subject to confirmation.

Independent licensed transporter
Mihai Group is not an IKEA shop. You place and pay for your order on ikea.it, select store collection in Catania, then ask Mihai to check transport space. The same Sicily–Malta service can collect goods from other suppliers or addresses in Sicily.
For an IKEA order, choose Ritira / Store Pickup, use the Catania collection option and follow the CAP shown by ikea.it. Use the code requested by ikea.it for its collection workflow. Mihai Group’s public Catania warehouse postcode is 95131. Send the order confirmation only through the official enquiry route after the order is ready for collection.

Catania consolidation
We coordinate collection and consolidation in Catania so supplier-packed items can be checked for weekly transport to Malta. The public warehouse postcode is 95131. Gozo delivery is +€80 only after the team confirms the route and space.
Select Catania store pickup. Choose the earliest suitable Monday only after checking the likely collection date.
Use the calculator with IKEA article codes, product links, a wishlist URL or an IKEA Italy PDF. The result is an estimate, not a booking.
Send the order details. Mihai checks supplier readiness, route, truck space, Malta or Gozo delivery and confirms the transport.
Non-IKEA collections
The same Sicily–Malta service can collect packed goods from addresses and suppliers outside IKEA.

Article codes, links or PDF
Do not know the packed volume or weight? The production calculator at https://calc.mihai.com.mt/ can read IKEA article codes and links, wishlist URLs and supported IKEA Italy PDFs, then total package dimensions and weight.

Typical weekly corridor
The regular corridor is roughly Pozzallo to Catania. Truck departure from Sicily is usually Monday and Malta delivery is usually Tuesday, subject to supplier readiness, truck space, ferry schedules and weather.
Collection away from the regular corridor may carry a €2 per kilometre surcharge, confirmed by the team before transport. Malta-to-Sicily collection can also be requested using the same tariff structure and should be arranged at least two days before departure.
Charges are calculated in 0.5 m³ steps. Each step includes up to 125 kg; when weight requires more steps than volume, the weight calculation prevails.
1.0 m³ includes 250 kg. If the shipment weighs 400 kg, weight requires four 125 kg steps, so the estimate is €320. Final cost is confirmed after the real packages, pickup and space are checked.

Mihai Group is not IKEA, does not sell the goods, and does not guarantee supplier stock or packing. It estimates transport, checks space and confirms an accepted movement with a human.
Alcohol, tobacco, aerosols, batteries, dangerous goods and perishable goods are not accepted through the standard service. Tyres, ceramics, rubber goods and unusual or regulated items may need prior approval or customs notification. Describe every item accurately before requesting transport.

Yes, from other Sicily suppliers or addresses. Collection away from the regular Pozzallo–Catania corridor may add €2 per kilometre, confirmed in advance.
Each €80 / 0.5 m³ step includes 125 kg. If weight needs more steps than volume, weight prevails using rounded-up 125 kg steps.
Gozo delivery is +€80 and must be confirmed; it is not added automatically and is not a booking.
Alcohol, tobacco, aerosols, batteries, dangerous goods and perishables are not accepted in the standard service. Ask before sending regulated or unusual goods.
